SOLER is ready to build its first biocarbon plant in the Vosges

“The SOLER Group and its subsidiary My Vosges are planning to build a biocarbon production unit at Chavelot, near Epinal (Vosges), a “green” substitute for fossil coal used as a reducing agent in the metallurgical industry. The project, estimated to cost €50 million, is one of the part of the latest call for projects under the France 2030 Plan.”

Philippe Soler-My, co-founder and CFO, tells L’Usine Nouvelle more about SOLER’s plan to set up in Epinal. The aim is to develop the first large-scale biocarbon production site for industry.
